Spokane River

Jason took this picture of the Spokane River when it was at one of it's highest points this week. The sign of the fish can normally be seen with a "warning" sign beneath it and the post in the ground. Well, just a day ago we could see the word "warning" on the sign just beneath the fish, so the river has started to decrease in its water level. We also saw that the road, while still blocked off, was no longer completely covered with water on Upriver Drive, however, the Centenial Trail was still covered with water. So far no rain the past two days, hopefully it stays that way. Seeing as we live on Upriver Drive, we've got a front row veiw and while we're grateful we're at a high enough elevation that any further flooding shouldn't affect us much we're praying for the sake of our neighbors that the river continues to receed. Have a blessed week. Jason &Tiff
