These are the colorful new light displays in our wonderful New Years Eve Ball that is dropped annually @ Times Square in New York City. Although the intent may only have been multiple colors with geometric designs I hope you enjoy the end results as much as I do! I love the blue and white it looks like snowflakes on a wintery night. It's difficult to choose a favorite they are all so beautiful.

The True Meaning of Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving!

With all the hectic events in our country and world, being the richest nation we still have so much to be thankful for. Do you have shelter? Do you have food? If so you have sooo much to Praise Him for! He is Our Jehovah-Jireh Our Great Provider! A famous talk show host on the "View" actually requested not to be reminded of God they just wanted to eat the food! How sadly ungrateful! Give Thanks to the very One who breathed life into you. Meditate on Ps. 139 and be grateful Christianity isn't outlawed in our country and you have access to an entire Bible if you so desire! You have so much freedom and wealth and ability if you can even read this-->be thankful that you're literate! Maybe she should watch Charlie Browns Thanksgiving along with the one on the Mayflower and just plain get happy!(the video below also might help)

Anyhow, Happy Thanksgiving, may we all find something and Someone to be grateful for!

I was playing a game Nintendo64 on my husbands DS. and I was in the upper rooms ;) and when you play the mini and huge mushroom levels you get to the top and there is this big looking round guy that throws you. Well, I was hoping not to get thrown back down to the bottom or off the mountain and die and I was thrown towards the top instead[Happy me!]. Isn't that just like the Lord. Things that look scary and can harm us God can use for good. He has said He has given us all power of the works of the enemy. All our enemies, depression, unhealthy anger, bitterness, etc. "Happy, happy, joy, joy" there is HOPE! :) :) :)

Speaking of Joy . . .

Joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. (Luke 15:7)

The book "23 Minutes in Hell" [available@amazon.com] is an eye opener to the lack of God, which is a lack of life in every way. No water because God is not there and if you lack God there can be no water to quench any thirst for life or water itself, just like the man in the bible who desired just one drop. In Hell, it's too late. John 4:10Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." In hell there is an eternal lake of fire created for Satan and his demons. It is not intended for humans. But if we don't "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand" which both Jesus and John the Baptist spoke about and if Jesus did it you can know it's God's will because first He never sinned and second He explained it by saying he only does the will of the Father in heaven.then there are eternal consequences that Jesus warned us about: He said, "Stop being afraid of those who kill the body but can't kill the soul. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell." Mttw. 10:28

The Bible is very clear about heaven and hell. God did not come to condemn(to cruelly punish) you but to save you. (read John 3:17) That's why He died, so you could be set free but you must take Him up on His offer!

The Bible also says "today is the day of salvation."IICor.6:2 And we know living in this world, that we have no guarentees, the very breath that God breathed into you to give you life can be taken at any moment. So what will it be? Heaven or Hell? God is so good! So merciful! So wonderful! He loves you and I more than we can imagine at times. If you are in any torment, emotional, physical, mental, God can and will come thru for you! Just pray to Jesus and he will answer.

Hey look! RE-JOYCE!!! te, he, he..... ! Now Joyce Meyer I'm sure would rather we Re-joice in the Lord! Find JOY in the Lord again. Remember all the good things He has done and is doing and will do and you find yourself rejoicing, at peace and resting in faith. If you're thinkin' well, she must have it good and that's why she has it all together! I personally know a walk with Christ gives you a peace that surpasses all understanding because you will not understand I repeat, will not understand the circumstances you will face at times with the Lord. It's all about trust with the Lord. So no things aren't 'rosy' perse but God's will and blessings even in the least is His peace that remains regardless of circumstances. So if you can't Re-Joyce everyday because you're not Joyce lookin at yo'self in the mirror every day, know that all of us can REJOICE in the LORD always! [ok-a bit corny -but it is Oct. ;)]because God is a good God and you're on His mind all the time! Praise HIM!

Remembering...

Faithfully Expecting

Jason and I are trying to concieve. I praise God for a wonderful OBGYN! I've found that I'm insulin resistant and now on meds and need to eat as if I were a diabetic. Knowing that I am obese and that diabetes is in my family I prayed earlier this Spring and asked the Lord for guidance and He had already impressed this on my heart which I shared with some friends and had started to change my diet now I'm adament about it though. Praise HIM!
God is so wonderful that He'll tell us about things ahead of time. I praise Him also for the medical confirmation! I'm grateful for appropriate medication and the info and care in the process of conceiving. I hope all is well for everyone. God Bless!

another update

Jason has applied again for a job in CT. We've had fun with Phase 10 and spaghetti night with the Beckhams. Visits with a few close friends have been wonderful, and as always we're waiting and praying for God's will and timing. Fall is wonderful and it's lovely on the Centenial trail. Pic updates soon. Our church is having a Women's Advance and my design for a T-shirt was chosen. Glory to Him, He inspired me and I obeyed and He helped me use my gifting of artwork to further glorify Him! How exciting! Hopefully if we do move I still get to go to the retreat. Well, it's less like a retreat and more like an intense spiritual advance, probably why they renamed it. Here's the pic:

Hello again...

Hi... I haven't blogged in such a long time. I'm debating on delaying getting started with Mary Kay (no car) or just finishing some art projects. The Christian Leadership Conferences were wonderful. So much teaching and impartation. Right before the conference started on Friday I got to plant some seeds of life into a young man on the bus and pray for a man in Burger King. Later that night as our friend Nick gave us a ride home a car started to swerve and was headed straight at us. I was the only woman in the car and I was thinking (split-second and barely out of shock of course) why aren't the men saying anything?! And then I opened my mouth and said "JESUS" really loud! Instantly, Nick turned the wheel to the right and we swerved off the road into some dirt and no one was harmed, no accident took place and we all made it safely home. Before the conference I had also prayed that angels would protect all those traveling to and from the conference and keep them safe (us included!) PRAISE Him!!! GOD our Provider and our Protector. I also had a chance to share this story with other people on the bus later in the week. God is sooooooooooo good! and greatly to be PRAISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Security

Sometimes having a down day can be soooo beyond frustrating. I guess with my 10 yr. highschool reunion coming up I've put so much pressure on myself I got to the point of having a mini breakdown. With all the drama the world puts on each other whether that be highschool or a decade later "keeping up with the 'Jones'" it all gets pretty ridiculous when we look back and have an attitude of gratitude. Looking at all my husband and I have come thru in the last 5 yrs we should be dead, divorced or in an institution other than marriage! But we're not! And the glory belongs to Jesus Christ alone! While we're still pursuing our own dreams, each at our own pace, I remain so grateful for everything, including my husband, and close friends, in addition to a loving church family who loves me and accepts me for who I am, no strings attatched. I have an Awesome God, who loves me, cares for me and always has my best interest in mind and takes every situation and turns it around for my good and ultimately His glory! So while I'm still in transition and I have no idea how long I'll be here (not too long-no camping out) but if it's longer than I expected or wanted in order for my destiny in Christ to come to fulfillment so be it, I've surrendered once again, my will, my time schedual for His. With that: rejoice in what you have, come to the Awesome Creator, Jesus Christ, and recieve all He has for you. Lovingly, Tiffany Renee

Update..

I have been having back issues but Praise Him! I am able to raise both my arms again. I had to go to Urgent Care on Sat. But all was well(for the most part) by Sunday. I've enjoyed completing paintings in my home and will look into college online soon as my temporary plans as of last week won't go as planned. Make plans and then see what the Lord does, cliche--> yeah, bc of it's truth-->When God closes a door He opens a window. Other blessings: Jason and I were obedient to give something God put on our hearts on Sunday and even though it was a stretch for us, God had it so that by the time the day ended we'd been blessed 3X as much by midday. Amazing! <--these are not just financial blessings, but you can Never, ever, out give Our Lord Jesus Christ! Praises to Christ alone; with little and with much! Here is a little book review, it will take a while to update the ones I really like to share, but it will be enjoyable.

True Prosperity

Malachi 3:10 I have found that it is so true that I can do far more with His 90% than I could ever accomplish keeping/holding on to more than that. I have been so blessed when I honor God with my heart mind and soul. I have personally come to find that as I honor Him in His plan for my own prosperity so that I might be blessed that I can have enough to be a blessing to others as well. He has never ever come up short. Not only are all my needs and that of my household met but I am well able to be a blessing to many and He also chooses to grant me the desires of my heart. Oh, how I rejoice in Him daily! Praise Him, Jesus the Lord of lords! "Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 NASB
Currently I've been enjoying the book True Prosperity by James Robison. It is an excellent read and promotes God's desire for all his children.

Spokane River

This photo was taken last week and the river as of last night looks like it may have receeded even further even if just slightly. While this is good news and a wonderful answer to prayers we can still pray for those in the midwest going through troubling times right now and we can give to Operation Blessing through CBN: www.CBN.org for our funds to help out with the further possible prevention of flood waters and repair/help for families that are suffering loss at this time.

Celebrating a birthday and enjoying fellowship last week was refreshing and enjoyable. Kyla and Angela, I cherish the memories and I look forward to the joys and sorrows shared in our journeys to come, it is a blessing to have close friends in the Lord. Thank you precious sisters for your love, encouragement and support. It wonderful to know that our friendship will never end because "Friends are friends forever if the Lord's the Lord of them"-M.W. The hearts of men...

Photo by Tiffany Phillips I love this country and it's wonderful privilege of freedom. As priceless and precious as freedom is, it is never free. Concerning eternity, Jesus Christ/God the Father paid the highest price, his life so that others can live and if you're alive He's got everything to do with it. Destruction is cheap and ramped and there is so much of it. I'm not out to defend war at all costs but when it means sacrificing life in order to preserve it because of the evil in the hearts of men who kill, steal and destroy life then it's worth it, fighting to protect innocent life. So, thank you again to all who are serving and sacrificing and those families that support you. Your gift is priceless and is not taken lightly by this U.S. citizen.
Recently I've been reading a fictional book by Karen Kingsbury, one of my favorite authors, titled: Ever After. It portrays the very real concerns of the war in the Middle East very well on both sides of the issue.
I can't help but quote this relevant scripture once again:

You are a mighty man of God. You have been hidden but He's bringing you into the light for His purposes alone. Praise Him! May you continue in His ways like David "a man after God's own heart".

Do we really believe God can heal???

Praises! Earlier tonight, Jason and I were watching Jesse Duplantis minister. He was encouraging boldness and believing with us that we'd recieve all God had for us: finances, health, sound mind, etc. Well my back was hurting on the right hand side near the spine and I had a problem for the past few days a severe pain under my right shoulder blade that was sharp and throbbing and about the size of a quarter. I really thought I'd have to go to a chiropractor. However I believed Jesus would heal me and so did Jason and he laid hands on me [Hebrews 6:1-2"1THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God,
2With teachings about purifying, the laying on of hands, the resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment and punishment. [These are all matters of which you should have been fully aware long, long ago.]." Amplified Bible] and I was instantly healed of all pain and none of it has returned! PRAISE JESUS Our King Eternal! God said we ARE healed. "...By his wounds you have been healed." 1Peter 2:24 Jesus healed the sick Mttw 8:8 "... But just say the word, and my servant will be healed" Do we believe HIM? or would we rather put God in a box? Do we accept all of the Bible or only part of it? Did God tell us we would do greater things or is he a man that He should lie?! Hebrews 6:18 "it is impossible for God to lie", Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?", Titus 1:2 "in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago," So then, what did Jesus say??? Mark 16:15-18 "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Christians: Who are we to make God into a liar!? We need to be careful we do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit (speak out against what God Himself thru the Holy Spirit has done on earth)! For this is the one unforgivable sin! Jesus speaking ->"So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven." Mttw. 12:31 Jesus' authority to heal: "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Mttw. 28:18 ", "And I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'" Acts 11:16, "for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Acts 1:5, "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." With only two weeks left to nanny I treasure each moment even more with Triston, Anthony and Lavona. Today we had company, the Beckhams came to visit! Thanx for a fun filled evening everyone! Treasured memories of today: Triston stood again (4th time @ my apt.) for a few seconds! Lavona praised the Lord with worship music! Anthony listened well, offered to share his pizza with Lavona and played racing games with the neighbors very nicely, <--you've grown so much and have a generous heart! Thanx for all the fun times! :)

The water level is just below the number 41 now. Thank you Lord for answered prayers. Jason and I were able to travel on the road beneath the Greene St. bridge as well(it is no longer covered in water).

Playful Day

Spokane River

Jason took this picture of the Spokane River when it was at one of it's highest points this week. The sign of the fish can normally be seen with a "warning" sign beneath it and the post in the ground. Well, just a day ago we could see the word "warning" on the sign just beneath the fish, so the river has started to decrease in its water level. We also saw that the road, while still blocked off, was no longer completely covered with water on Upriver Drive, however, the Centenial Trail was still covered with water. So far no rain the past two days, hopefully it stays that way. Seeing as we live on Upriver Drive, we've got a front row veiw and while we're grateful we're at a high enough elevation that any further flooding shouldn't affect us much we're praying for the sake of our neighbors that the river continues to receed. Jesus Christ is faithful to deliver us from all forms of death: Lust, mammon, alcohol, eating disorders, suicide, depression, even drug addictions. God can replace all forms of destruction with life if we call on Jesus alone. If you're in need, know God and his followers truely love you and desire to see you walk in His abundant life and be free from all chains of bondage that seek to destroy you and your life. Get Christian counseling and in a safe, Bible based church, don't remain isolated, stay connected at all costs, make Him the Lord of your life and ask Him to forgive your every sin then let Him and those who know Him guide you to and thru the deliverance you need. Psalms107:20 "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

Memorial Day

Many remember exactly where they were on that dark Tuesday morning. September 11, 2001 is just one of many times the lives of innocent men and women were lost because of radical terrorists. Today as we think on how none of us desires war may we remember those who sacrificially have given and continue to risk their very lives for our safety and protection and for the safety and protection of other innocents around the world. If it were not for so many U.S. soldiers stationed around the world, not only would there many more innocent lives lost, but our very lifestyle and freedoms that we are privelaged to enjoy may be in jeapordy. May we never forget that our freedom has been purchased by the blood of those who have fought, protected, and even given their lives to serve this country and our world abroad.

Dear Heavenly Father, you are so gracious and merciful, please release ministering angels to guard all on duty this day who continue to seek and choose life. Be with the families who have loved ones away from them at this time and cover those who are so precious to us in the blood of Christ that they might be preserved for their time in destiny to choose you and serve you that they may enjoy the freedom in the abundant life You've given us. As You've said we're given a chance to choose in this lifetime life or death, blessing or cursing as illustrated in Deut. 30:19. May we choose life. In Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Spring in Spokane

I love nature. I took these pictures in and around Spokane this week. In spite of the Lilac City's somewhat harsh and generally abnormal weather, Spring has sprung! Even if it took almost being on the verge of summer to get here! May showers bring May flowers! ;)
